I've made this work a while ago..Don't know why I didn't want to post it..It's very precious and personal to me. It shows my abstract understanding of the meaning of life and how different the values and feelings can be from person to person, from reality to reality.
Death, decay, sunrise and waves - nothing really matters when this melody's playing.
I like to exaggerate the meaning of the small things to us. One would say it's ridiculous - when the other would see his destiny in this small thing.. like dandelion for example. Well I'm talking too much.

some more details on the waves would be good

some areas look too black and smudged

it looks like colour wash over black/white drawing some areas like the top of the arch near the blue rocks should imho not be blue as there is nothing to reflect blue light onto them

Dagnammit, she beat me to it... and said it better. Everything Jawine said, particularly the waves, I think they need to be lighter or 'more watery'. Not much help I know sorry.

Wow! Thank you, guys! I'm already going on with another paintings. I'm trying to learn more and not to make the same mistakes twice. I don't wanna touch this work again - because I've lost the feeling of this painting long ago and I've got another atmosphere to concentrate on.

Wonderful composition, scenery and theme. I don't know why but the color of blue in the dress doesn't appeal to me compared to the rest of the image's colors.

i like this blue in clothes though.. It doesn't have some special meaning - I just like the dress
